About Andy Ferron

Hello! Nice to meet you.

Hi, I’m Andy Ferron, a dude living in St. Paul, Minnesota with my wife, Bethany, and our busy toddler, Cameron.

In addition to being a dad and husband, I’m a marketer by trade. In my currently limited free time, I enjoy being a professional amateur at a variety of things — road cycling, cooking/grilling and vegetable gardening.

I am a fan of baseball, putzing in our yard and on home improvement projects, enjoying wine, beer and food of all kinds, traveling, collecting vinyl records, Peloton classes, perfecting my Bloody Mary recipe, and several other annoying millennial hobbies.

I also have a lifelong interest in commercial aviation and the airline business, and if I ever find myself with an abundance of free time and disposable income, I hope to get my private pilot’s license someday.

Stuff I care about

Since becoming a parent in 2019, I’ve become acutely aware of how much parents have to rely on others for help. Kids deserve our best! And that can be hard sometimes, as most of us parents don’t have unlimited resources and aren’t able to make parenting our only job.

Luckily, our community has some great organizations who are focused on improving the lives of kids here in the Twin Cities. Here are some organizations I support for the work they do and the impact they make on kids’ lives. I encourage you to learn more about these organizations and consider doing the same:

  • My Very Own Bed is a Minneapolis nonprofit providing a new beds set of sheets, blanket, pillow, mattress pad, stuffed animal and book to kids who may otherwise have to go without their own safe, cozy place to sleep, dream and grow. This is truly life changing work!

  • Como Friends supports the City of Saint Paul’s Como Park Zoo and Conservatory and helps fund capital improvements, operations and free admission for all. Como Park has made kids’ eyes light up for generations and Como Friends’ work helps ensure that will continue long into the future.

  • The Minnesota Zoo Foundation provides financial support to the Minnesota Zoo, a great asset to our community and global conservation efforts.

  • The Minnesota Children’s Museum encourages learning through play — a noble cause as kids are more absorbed in screens and missing the developmental boost open-ended play provides.
